American/French producer MarMar and UK producer .dg have collaborated on a new inspirational and emotional single fusing the sonic worlds of EDM and house music. With the song already beginning to receive its accolades as featured on the bbcintroducing channel.

The talented duo delivers a unique yet familiar progressive track that resonates deeply with the message of chasing what you love. Achieving this not only through lyricism but also through composition is an impressive feat. The track serves as a personal story for MarMar, inspired by his journey of leaving home to seek love in France.

Their varying stylistic creations link together seamlessly while still creating avenues for individual expression. The song flows through with an atmospheric and indie inspired tune reminiscent of Mar Mar’s earlier work and the mellow yet uplifting melodies which have been exceptionally homed in and perfected by. dg. Sonically recreating their influences Duskus and Tourist.

MarMar reveals; “take me somewhere is a song about running away with the person you love. I think it really captured the idea of freedom for both Danny and me. We wanted to make something fun during the winter season, with the reminder of hope for sunny days. This song was a blast to make with him and feels like a breath of fresh air creatively.”

dg. adds; “Mario sent me the original idea and it was fantastic! The idea to create a catchy song that captures both a dance and melancholic feel was the plan for this track. We aimed to create a song about finding joy in the moments that feel encapsulating.”
