What a lovely day, and the sun is shining! Dublin’s producer-DJ duo Obskür is heating up with the release of their two-track EP, Another Life. Out now via UK label neXup recz, this marks their first release of the year.

Consisting of Lorcan McCarthy and Faustas Astrauskas, Obskür launched their collaborative project in 2019. During the pandemic, they honed a distinct sound that landed them releases on respected labels like Pete Tong’s FFRR and the Australian imprint Sweat It Out.

Kicking off with “Another Life,” Obskür delivers a high-energy, peak-time weapon. The track is driven by a relentless rhythm, punchy percussion, and a sharp bassline, all laced with retro-fueled melodies. Its gritty, industrial undertones make it a perfect fit for dark, sweat-drenched club nights.

“Can You Dig It” dives into a deeper, moodier journey. A rolling groove and weighty bass tones build a brooding late-night atmosphere, while its standout vocal hook keeps the energy flowing.

Alongside the EP, Obskür has announced a nine-date U.S. tour, kicking off Friday, March 7, at Toats in Austin, Texas, and wrapping up with their debut at Miami Music Week.

Following their U.S. run, they’ll embark on an eight-date UK headline tour, hitting Liverpool, Brighton, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Newcastle, and London.
