United States producer Liam Dever teams up with Alita Moses on “I Don’t Wanna Be Right,” released via For Those Who Need Records.

Their first collaboration blends live instrumentation, jazz-rooted songwriting, and underground electronic influences into a record that captures both the relief and guilt of a shameless night out.

The track opens with gloomy chords and Alita’s expressive vocals, gradually joined by shuffling hi-hats and crisp claps that give the arrangement a subtle rhythmic pull.

When the drop arrives, a distorted house bassline takes center stage, supported by gnarly synths that push the track into a darker electronic territory.

Across its arrangement, “I Don’t Wanna Be Right” brings together the intimacy of a live musical approach with the raw energy of underground club production.
