Among the release’s highlights is the remastered “Thrillseekers” remix, originally released on Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It imprint. The track earned support from DJs including Eats Everything and Skream and became a staple on Ibiza dance floors, cementing its place as one of Daniels’ most recognized productions.
Speaking on the relaunch, Daniels said it was the right time to revisit these remixes, restore them, and make them available again for a new generation of DJs and listeners.
Founded by Daniels, Sampled Detroit has long served as a platform for underground house music. The relaunch marks a new chapter for the label as it continues to champion club-focused releases while honoring its Detroit roots.
For more than two decades, Daniels has remained an influential figure in Detroit’s electronic music scene, releasing music on labels including Defected, Planet E, Classic, KMS, and Ministry of Sound while helping shape the city’s house music culture through his long-running Sampled Movement Festival afterparty.
The Remixes marks the return of Sampled Detroit, bringing a collection of sought-after productions back to today’s dance floors.
