Paris-based producer Orsay and U.S.-based artist Kotiēr have teamed up for their new single “1886,” released April 10 via Abracadabra Music, the imprint founded by BLOND:ISH.
Orsay has been steadily building momentum since 2024 and has already released music on labels including Ninja Tune, Siamese, and Magnifik Music. His touring footprint has taken him across Tulum, London, Madrid, Paris, Lisbon, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and Tokyo.

Kotiēr works at the intersection of sound and visual storytelling. Over the past year, he has remixed Kölsch’s “Sad Makes Me Happy,” collaborated with U.K. duo CamelPhat and released his Kingdom EP on Diynamic, the label founded by Solomun.
On “1886,” the track opens with a thumping kick and shuffling hi-hats, building into a rolling bassline and layered percussion. As it unfolds, a vocal line is introduced, leading into a breakdown shaped by gliding synth textures and warm chords that drive the energy forward.
The collaboration began in Paris last May, where the two producers first met. Since then, they have continued exchanging ideas and working closely on new material.
