Sandbox Festival to host a special event in Egypt

Egypt’s Sandbox festival revealed the full lineup for its 2023 edition. Egypt’s Sandbox festival revealed the full lineup for its 2023 edition.

Well-respected artists from the house, techno, breaks, and electro sectors, including Dan Shake, Denis Sulta, Francesco Del Garda, Jayda G, Moodymann, Palms Trax, SamaAbdulhadi, Seth Troxler, and Sugar Free, will perform at the Sandbox Festival in El Gouna from May 11 to 13.

Other highlights from this year include a special back-to-back with Carlita and DJ Tennis as Astra Club and Hamish & Toby, live performances by HVOB and Oden & Fatzo, and exclusive DJ sets by Agents Of Time and The Blaze. Detroit is represented by the Mahogany Music boss Moodymann, the one and only house magician, along with labelmate Dan Shake and fellow Midwesterner Seth Troxler, who also contributes the sultry grooves.

Expect to hear plenty of slick minimal, breaks, electro, and techno from artists like CiCi, Francesco Del Garda, Sugar Free, Palms Trax, and Palestine’s trailblazing Sama’ Abdulhadi, as well as soulful music from Carista, deep tech from &ME, upbeat selections from the playful Denis Sulta, and floor-filling tracks from Grammy nominee Jayda G.

Egypt is an essential and reasonably priced tourist destination that is only a 30-minute flight from the village of El Gouna and offers assured fantastic weather, delectable local cuisine, and lots of history and tradition to discover.
