HUGEL has teamed up with hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg on “H.O.U.S.E.,” a new collaboration that brings a long-held ambition to life for the French DJ and producer. The release arrives after a milestone year for HUGEL, whose debut album, Twenty One, topped Spotify’s Global Dance Albums Chart and surpassed 650 million streams.
For HUGEL, the collaboration carries a meaning that goes beyond another major name on his discography. In a personal post reflecting on the journey behind the record, he recalled listening to Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” 21 years ago, when the track helped inspire him to pursue music.

“Today, a song with Snoop Dogg has my name on it too,” HUGEL wrote, reflecting on how far he has come since those early days. He also imagined returning to his younger self to play him their new collaboration, offering a reminder of how difficult it can be to picture where a passion might eventually lead.
The connection between the two artists developed after Snoop Dogg reached out to HUGEL directly on Instagram. That exchange grew into a creative relationship that extended to the stage, with the pair appearing together at Coachella in 2026. Their collaboration brings together Snoop Dogg’s West Coast hip-hop legacy and HUGEL’s contemporary dance sound, shaped by Latin House and Afro House influences.
The new single follows the release of Twenty One, a project named after the 21 years HUGEL spent building his career before releasing his first full-length album. The record features an extensive lineup of collaborators, including David Guetta, Big Sean, French Montana, Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, Bryson Tiller, NBA YoungBoy, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Ultra Naté, Roy Woods, and Tokischa, alongside Snoop Dogg.
HUGEL’s recent run has also extended across streaming, radio, and live performances. His collaboration “Movin’ To The Sun,” featuring Imael Angel and Ultra Naté, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Airplay chart, while “Jamaican (Bam Bam)” with SOLTO climbed to No. 2 among the most-Shazamed songs globally. In 2026, HUGEL also made his Coachella debut and continued his international club schedule, including a residency at Hï Ibiza.
Beyond the career milestones, HUGEL used the story behind “H.O.U.S.E.” to share a message with aspiring artists who may be struggling to stay committed to their goals. “Being unheard doesn’t mean you have nothing to say,” he wrote, encouraging people to keep pursuing what matters to them while appreciating the experiences along the way.
With “H.O.U.S.E.,” HUGEL brings a long-standing musical influence into his own catalogue, turning a connection that began with a song he heard as a young aspiring producer into a collaboration with the artist who helped inspire that journey.
