Australian producer Arky Waters returns with his latest single, “Run It Up,” released earlier this month on May 7 via Mammal Sounds Records. The track has already been described as a “formidable club weapon.”
Based in Sydney, Waters is currently preparing for the release of his debut album later this year. So far in 2026, the young producer has dropped three singles: “UGETME?,” “OMG,” and “Molly” – with “Run It Up” marking his fourth release of the year and potentially serving as another glimpse into the forthcoming project.

The single opens with a fast-paced beat that blends bouncy, syncopated dembow rhythms with heavy synth work. As the track develops, the buildup introduces pulsating synth lines, distorted basslines, and growling leads before shifting into a softer dubstep-inspired section, eventually returning to energetic 4×4 rhythms. The constant evolution between these styles keeps the track dynamic and club-focused throughout.
Speaking about the release, Arky Waters shared:
“I wanted something dark and gritty to cut into my sets. The main bass lead is made with a software copy of a classic Moog analogue synth; I think it provides so much warmth and character. It’s super unpredictable and hard to control, so you end up with these really cool moments where the filter opens up and it really seems to take over the whole track. Was so much fun to make!”
